"Memory" is a very faithful reproduction of my first dablle with water-soluble oils on panel, (i LOVE working on cradled panel and hope to be doing that more soon)
When I was imagining this piece and daydreaming about what it might be, I imagined myself combimg through my memories and picking them up and holding them like sparkly objects, some heavier and darker, some like the beautiful crustals you find at gem shows...I imagined how it would be if we could just access the best memories so easily keep them in the front of our mind to drown the darker ones and remind us life is good most of the time (not always, I am a dreamer but not naive) anyway, this is what came of that pondering
